Thanks to a lot of forum help finally got my old M started.Been setting for a good 3 or 4 years. Now,time to change oil.I poured in a lot of 10w30 to get it started, and I'll change to straight 30w next. But where is it going?Put in 8 or 9 quarts, and still didn't see oil when I took the cap off the pipe indicator.Oil pressure, however, is far as the needle goes to the right of the gauge.Way much pressure.Anybody got a favorite oil? I was using 30w Valvoline before it stopped running. How about synthetic oil.Anyone ever try it?Don't think it comes in a straight weight, but the 10w30 is supposed to be good. Comments appreciated.
