The front tires on my 1066 have a lot of age on them and one was booted before I bought it. They are 10.00x16 and little concerned that they are unsafe on road in high gear and do not want blowout 8 miles from shop. I was wanting to put new 11.00x16s on it for a little more flotation and wanted to go with 4 rib as they look better. The thing is that right now there is approx 3/4 inch clearance between inner edge of tire and the little steel block welded on the outside top of the spindle tower. I know tire brands can vary but do you all think the 11.00 is that much wider that it could rub. Tire man is unsure!
