my shop manual is #IH-8, it covers A-D9.I don't need every step detailed, just more than 1 pic of side view of transmission. Is this the same manual you are calling service manual?I just dont like surprizes when i tackle something new to me. it doesn't say anything about if the clutch shaft has to come out also. Just seperate the tranny case from the clutch housing. does the main spline shaft slip out of the transmission drive flange?something has to before it will split at that section. I am just trying to git a visual in my head before i do that step. i have the top cover off and the pto housing off. still have to pull axle shaft. The only reason i.m doing it is the teeth are gone on the oil slinger gear. i dont know that it really needs it, as oil is being moved to the top via the drive gears. and i have not located a oil gear yet.
