Is it a 584 or 574

I was looking at an IH 584(I think). The S/N was covered by a plate from the loader,the exhaust went down and back under the tractor and the axel was swept back. Does anyone know which tractor this is? Can anyone tell me what specifically I would look at to tell the differences between these two tractors? Thanks, Stubob
