Hurst: I don't think it is the shift lever being worn, that really only affects shifting from one gear to another. You may have gear wear, and yes they are the same as the SA, 100 and 130, straight cut gears. I had this same problem with my 130, popping out of gear. I took the top cover off and the cogs were in excellent shape. There are detent balls in the shifter slides, that hold the transmission in each and every gear. New balls and springs cured my tractor. I think you should catch this quickly as popping out of gear will in time wear the greas themselves. Those springs and balls are still available from CaseIH.
