You need to pull the coil wire from the distributor cap and hold it within 1/4" of a good ground. Then have someone to crank the engine with the ignition switch on. Should get a nice hot blue spark. You need to make sure you have battery voltage at the coil. Is this still the 6 volt system or has it been converted to 12 volts? Make sure there's no corrosion on those coil wire ends or in the coil opening. If you have a new coil wire I would use it or one that you know is good. If voltage is good at coil and you don't have any spark the coil may weak. If this battery is using positive ground the wire from the coil to the distributor has to connected to + postitive terminal on the coil. Hal
