I ran and out 450 Diesel for years and always made sure that the starting tank was full and always let it warm up before putting it to work and would allow it to ideal till the temp gauge was down on cold before i shut it down and would alway shut it down on the diesel side and yea i know somebody is going to tell me that i was doing it wrong but buy switching back over on gas it caused the combustion chamber to heat back up and that is not what you want and that tractor is still running and i sold it over 35 years ago and it is still in the area. Tryed a couple times to buy it back and he just will not get rid of it even offered him a 706 diesel even up swap .
