One of our threads on here a while back was what is your favourite sound and some thought they liked the sounds of certain tractors and Jimont said it was being in the barn on Christmas and snow falling outside...that struck a chord with me, there is nothing more peaceful and endearing that the sounds in the barn, cattle munching quietly, straw rustling under them, sounds of a calf sucking, cats curled up on top of a bale of straw, and I am not a religous fanatic but animals and barns and mangers..the cattle get a few extra bales and some extra corn, the cats get an extra can of catfood, and the cows all get a few apples that I stored away, and when I turn the lights off to leave you can't help thinking of being a Christian and knowing that it is Christmas, even if you're not a Christian you feel the rhythm of life. You really have to experience it and when Jimont posted that I couldn't think of one sound that was better than Christmas in the barn with snow falling down...Merry Christmas everyone...Mike in Exeter Ontario
