On this 986 there were some times the things up in cab didn't work and than after about half hour the heater or a/c would start. After several months of this it wouldn't start at all, put new switch in from IHC and it didn't solve the problen. I cut the wire leading up stairs and hook directly onto battery and everything works up stairs. I can not see any wires under dash or cab that look as if pinched. What else could be the problem? thanks for your help ...Alvin
