My B has a leak at both pto, rear and the right angle that drives the pulley for the mower. I have read the past pto questions and assume that I can pull the seals from the outside, then lube the new ones and press or tap the new ones in. The seals I got from IH-Case dealer are #7171901 at $17.00 each. I read that one will do and I hope to get by with one as 3 stacked up would lead to $34-$51.The dealer had these in stock, but rolled his eyes when I told him it was for a B. Am I correct on my assumptions and are these the correct seals, both are the same? My idea is to drill 2 holes and put a sheet metal screw in to pull it out. If this doesn't work, a chisel? Thanks for any ideas and info.
