Hey Guy, This is probably the simplest repair that you'll ever do. Set your bucket on a couple of 15 gal oil barrels 'er something. One at a time, pull the pin out of the ram/front cross member and let the arm down on an upside down bucket or some such thing. I haven't done one in 30 some years, but as I recall, there is a 3/8" short bolt thru a collar at the forward end of the cylinder. Loosen it until the collar clears and then just pull that ram clear outta the cylinder. Replace that leather and reinforcement spring at the other end of the ram and slide it all back together. Probably 10 minutes tops on each side. Allan
