Be sure to check the "basket" that the points mount in. This rotates to advance or retard the spark. Make sure that it is not grounded. It should only be grounded in the fully retarded (ccw) position. The secondary lead-out wire from the coil and condeser also rotates with this and I've seen them break right behind the basket. Also, be sure you have the magnet on with the IHC logo facing out(to the right as you are looking at the points).
