The 560 carb will bolt right on the manifold, they had a 263 cubic inch displacement. The 560 carb venturi is a little bigger than the OEM 460,, which is ok. The governor linkage should be the same on both carbs as fas as location, If not it dont take much to make the linkage. I am for sure I have this carb. It is aluminum, the one I have, has 2 fuel outlets, for fuel line location, one is plugged, other has the fuel inlet. Ill run to the shop today and get the pictures taken. The reason the OEM carbs have a stutter in them is due to the main jets not being big enough to fully feed the metering stem with the right amount of fuel, until it revs up and gets the fuel flowing through the system. It is critical to make sure the manifold does not have vacuum leaks for the sheblers to work correctly. Also the ignition has to be in good shape. I built a IH 460 pulling tractor, a work that has taken 2 years+ going on now, It has a 706 engine in it. Ive gone through everything on it in the engine, to get the most power, and run the best that it can. Getting that famous IH stutter out of it was the hardest part to try and fix. On my engine, a C-263 gas, I had a combination of problems creating the hesitiation upon acceleration, the distributor was not in the best of shape, and the carb was not feeding it enough fuel, once I got the carb rejetted, and the timing just right, it ran like a sewing machine. It picked up a few more HP too. But, I run about 5000 rpms on it too,,, but still runs good in the lower rpms. I tried the zenith carb on it, and it was ok, ran good, and did not stutter, thats when I thought more along the line of a carb problem that was creating it. Keep watch, ill post the pictures of the carb I have, Hope this helps with why they do, the things they do. Chad
