hay too dry

Yes this is an IH topic. Got out at daylight and raked windrows together with the 560. That sure is a nice rake tractor on the double V rake. Then jumped on the Hydo 86 but the alfalfa is too dry to bale. got a bale started but it just goes "maw maw maw" and knocks all the leaves off. I'll have to finish the bale with some grass hay and wait for a morning with some dew but next 3 days are forcast for 100°+ so that ain't likely. So Monday I'll get back at my grass hay but with current conditions I can mow in the afternoon and start baling the next morning.
