That depends on the tractor and how the draw bar is attached to the tractor. I have been corrected on the photo on my web site. I had the chain wrapped around the draw bar suppost and the draw bar. That was incorrect. The draw bar support is attached to the axels giving the tractor the pivot point of the wheels. Thats bad. Had I used a clevis and hooked just to the draw bar itself that would be correct as the draw bar is connected ahead of the wheels. When you pull on the draw bar it forces the front down. The tires would spin before she would go over. Thats on a H or M with standard draw bar. Not sure about trators with different draw bars. My 400 has a fast hitch. Its attached to the rear axle bolts but some how pulls from in front of the wheels. Thanks for bringing that up. I need to update that part of my site.
