Yeah, I can remember being on that Super H for days on end, plowing with a 2 bottom IH pull type plow. Till Dad bought the 856, we used a 730 deere, and that Super H. I know the band brakes conversion can be done, but, you gotta change the bearing cages on the brake pinion shafts, and, I think you may either have to drill the pilot hole for the band brake pivot pin to go into the rear end housing, or, there may be a plug there,, Dont know for sure,,,, How is the IH trucks you got, running? Good I hope, seems like a good time to go driving in the country in one. I know where there is an old IH truck sitting, and its not bad at all! It has a wood stake bed on it, dually, tires are up, but probably wouldnt last 200 miles,,, LOL! But, engine is not stuck,, All I know for the model, Im thinking of S-180,,, I could be wrong, but "S" for sure. It is a straight valve head engine, the tag is inside the cab, drivers side, by the door. Couple hours of work, and paint, mite be nice! Has a single barrel Holley carb, if that helps determine a year make. is $200 too much for the whole truck? Chad

It is also very apparent that these folks are getting a lot of very poor and often very dangerous advice fro
