John: If your tractor is Farmall and made in England, Rusty has the right answer, B-450, it looks like an M and should have a factory 3 point hitch. The tractor will be a direct start diesel with glow plugs. One other remote possibility is Farmall Super BMD, basically the same tractor as B-450 only an older model. These were imported into the southern US by IH about 1961 to 1963. I think the model change from SBMD to B-450 occured just before that, but some will say 1958, others 1960 and still others 1962. Since you have a relatively small serial number, my bet is on the B-450. Try reposting a new thread on this, in headline draw attention to Harold H, he was a dealer in the south when these tractors were sold new. Just suggest to Harold you need ID on British Farmall diesel. He'll nail it for you.
