Hey Kevin - Don’t sell yourself short! Until you actually pull can never be sure what will happen: A couple years ago loaned my bone stock Super H to a buddy of mine (and John Deere enthusiast) to run at the local firemens’ carnival pull. It pulled at 4,500# against a bunch of JD A’s, several Farmall H’s and M’s, a pair of Oliver 77’s and a Massey. Most of ‘em had been tinkered with (lightened) specifically for pulling. To my surprise and great delight the SH got the only full pull in it’s class. Wasn’t as fast or as noisy as most of the competition, but it got the job done. And to add insult to injury the SH got called upon to drag the next puller (a JD A) off the track after it stalled halfway down and could not be restarted. Moral of the story: Get out there and give it a try - you might be pleasantly surprised!!
