I worked with a man that was sharpening his mower blades and I happened to pick up one of the blades and said these blades don't need any sharpening. He said his grass was always white looking after he mowed. I looked at the blades again and the green from the grass was on the wrong edge. I said you've been putting these blades on in the wrong direction. The sharp edge needs to rotate in the direction of the spindles. He never had any problems after that.
