Andrew, If the Super C carb and governer linkage is like the one on an H, there is a notch on the linkage on the carb that a shaft from the governor fits into. It is real easy to not get that shaft in the notch. When that happens, full throttle occurs. If the linkage is not the same as an H, forget what I said. HTH, Larry
