As some of you know i bought a very nice all original 91 combine, at an auction. I have had several people ask me, why the heck did you by a combine? Especially that old!? And some of these people have a farmall tractor or 2, that are restored! I geuss that tells a good IH collector apart from a bad one, I bought the combine cause it was a good price, it was in mint shape, probably could spend the $700 CDN on gas for the truck and not find one like it. I just ignore people when they ask me now. It's just the same when i buy carharrt coats and overalls, They say why do you spend $80+ dollars on that stuff when you could buy another brand for $40? I just say cause it holds out a heck of alot more than the other stuff. I just think they are jealous that i get all the good deals and nice clothes! What is it with some people????
