Yea,I remember that.If you remember mine was hard to start as well.I never really got that out of it,but I put up with it,as long as it didnt rain!I have been going through it and am trying to get it right and do a proper restoration on it.The bolck needs repaired where it crack from freezing many years ago,it doesnt leak bad,but I know itll get worse.the ranny needs a good cleaning and its getting a new paint job.The old restration is showing its age. I did pretty much the same thing as you did with the carb,and my total is up to about 8 parts carbs,not a single one had a good float so I bit the bullet and got a new one from Rice. I feel as if I clean one more of them Ill have brass fingers!Gas was getting the oil via the pump so I replaced it as well with a kit from Rice.Its pumping good now.Already rebuilt the mag and its hot.I just cant narrow the problem on the carb down.Oh well,Ill get it soon I hope!
