I bought one of dad's M tractors & the right brake drum was frozen. Got the brake lining apart & loose. Thinking I should take off the brake drum to clean it up to, especially the contact surface. Is the brake lining filings contain asbestos or any hazardous material? The tractor needs painted, should I paint the brake drum, inside of the brake drum housing & etc. I found no seal between the housing the tractor body cassing. Should there be a gasket? I have the tractor manual but it's not much help. How do I pull of the brake drum, is it appears to be stuck if it is recommended to pull off for restoration purposes? Thanks for any input. Den
