Just replaced the clutch in a "51 Farmall M, the wavy looking plate that connects the trans yoke to the clutch shaft was worn almost through. Picked up 4 of the tapered bolts from the IH dealer and a new coupling plate from a salvage yard (dealer wanted $80 for it). Now that its all back together I noticed the replacement plate is thinner than the orig.- it has about 3/16" of play. Should I try and find a thicker plate or is it good as is? Thanks Ben
