Allan, When IH began using the white paint on the 50"s series, I was so disappointed that they could take a perfectly good red tractor and screw it up by adding a white grill insert and white side panels. When they finally came out with the black stripe, I became an instant admirer of the white paint I thought so un-IH before. The black stripe, in my opinion, just never cut the mustard. While it may compromise the originality, you have my solumn blessing to go with the white accent as opposed to the less than appealing black stripe.........Sumptn tellz me my opinyun aint gonna matter a twit, az I"m sure youre gonna smear whichever shade of paint you want on the ole girl.
