Got a call yesterday from a man who inherited a 966 when his father passed away last year. Its a 1975 I think with 3760 hrs cab dual 18.4-38s full rack of weights ,new clutch, and says it starts up in about 3 seconds even after setting for several months. Says he'll take 4000 dollars. Its only about 150 miles from here. How much trouble were the TA's in these models? WE had a black stripe 1466 in Iowa and worked the guts out of that thing/ I see Allen and a few others have expert knowledge on these . Also allen I have an extra 1976 I.H. brochure featuring the black stripe tractors and most of the other 66 series literature as well. What do you think of this deal? Migraine
