Mornin" I am stumped, turn the key; push the starter button and "snap" or "click" is all I hear at the starter. Had the tractor tuned up a couple months ago. Yesterday, instead of deer hunting, I took the solenoid off, cleaned the contacts/wire connectors/copper strap and got them "shiney, bright and tight" as one guy on the N board talks about. Was all excited for good results as the corrosion was bad. Small wire on solenoid and another wire that must run juice somewhere (didn"t trace it) is quite badly cracked (could be my problem). Any info would be appreciated as I could have played...err..ahhh...worked with my Farmall. Thanks in advance. Thanksgiving week and I am thankful for this - informative-enlightening-funny comments - message board, among other things. Stars sure are beautiful and bright this mornin". Gonna go watch an Andy Griffith episode and have some hot chocolate and will check back to see ifn" there"s some other early Sunday mornin" risers.
