This is going to be long. Ok here we go. My wife and I just bought 11 acres we are going to build on in the spring. I would like to finish mow about 6 acers of it. I have been trying to find a woods mower for my Super C but only one place in our area can even order them anymore. They want $1700 for the mower. $200 shipping and a fee to fit it to my tractor.$2000+. They keep trying to talk me into a three point pull behind but that's not what I want. I have a friend in Iowa that has an H with a mower on it that he mulchs leaves with and drives in the Iowa tractor ride. He bought the tractor after it was restored by a high school FAA project. I was looking up his number to call him to see if he would consider selling it and the phone rang and it was him...weird. He wanted to know If I would like to buy his H. After talking I offered him $2500 for it. He called back today and said he would like $300O for it. I stress this is a friend, I would rather loose the tractor than his respect. On the same hand I don't want to pay more than is resonalbe for it. When I go to Lowes or Home Depot and see what they are getting for plastic lawn tractors it seems fair. But I also see H's sell on here a lot less than that.I have attached a photo of the tractor, just ingnore my yahoo buddies cutting up on it. Thanks in advance for your advise.
Paul
