30W non-detergent oil is bad enough for the engine and hydraulics, but you should really be using 90W gear oil for the transmission and rear end. Even modern motor oil is not made to withstand shearing between gears. New Operators and Service manuals are still available. One caution is to realize that oils have improved in the last 60 years.
