No vent on the hood,only 12s had that.What I can do is run it off of the little starting tank on the hood,have a cutoff for that tank and teed in there to the line from the pump,it runs fine from the small tank and runs when the big tank valve is on but no turbulence in the pump bowl.I can crack open the lines from the out side of the pump all the way up to the carb and gas will seep out.That cold just be from the small tank working it way down the system,although I dont think it should but it does.now,if I cut off the samll tank and open the big one,it will eventually cut off.Im pulling the pupm off this afternoon to bench test it and see what happens,I hoping just a vapor lock situation.
