Allan; A book I have rates a 686 diesel at 8000lbs and +60hp. Seems hp should be more then that. Should handle a 6 row pull type planter. Dont know about mounted. And depending on size of packer(not sure what that consists of)it should handle that ok. Now about the plow, You should atleast be able to pull it down the road. My 706 german would pull a 4-16 semimount fast hitch IH plow in 4 and low. Same with a 15'MF tandem disk with bar harrow. 4 and low for the most part.That would usually give me an easy 4.5mph. Hope all works out for you and you can get back on the farm. steveormary
