IH Wide Front for H/M questions/worth

First a question that bugs me: When did IH change the linkage placement on the wide front ends they made for the M? I know the earlier ones were witht the linkage out front, and the later ones had it in the back, but I can never find out when the change was made....

Second question: What's an original IH wide front for an H or M with the linkage out in front worth? I know it depends on what kind of shape it's in, how wore it is, etc, but let's just say this one could be on the tractor today and used in the fiel as soon as you had the front wheels back on.....

Any help is much appreciated. Thanks!
