IH only kept the out front design for two or three years? Boy, that was fast! Didn't know that bit of info.

Hmmm, We must have gotten cheated by IH then, 'cause we bought two brand spankin' new wide front ends in 1951 that had the tie rods out front with the offset steering knuckles and the drop in pins. Ordered both with the heavy 1/2" adjustment plate. Did they just sell us new old stock, or something?

Who had trouble with the caster and camber adjustments on a front tie rod IH front end? Did ya happen to get their names? Because, they are definitely strangers to me...

Oh, and by the way, just where are the caster and camber adjustments on an IH out front wide front end anyway? Our front ends sure didn't have any C&C adjustment. Now, I know we got cheated! Dag-Nabit!!

Well now wait a minute here, let's see. Where are the caster and camber adjustments on any tractor wide front end? I sure can't see 'em from where I'm standing.

I realize I live wayyyyyyy out in the boonies, but the first wide fronts with the tie rods behind the axle that I was aware of from IH were on the number series tractors; this is not to say they weren't out there .

Maybe they were introduced on the Supers? Heck, I dunno; all I know is row crop tractors & I'm startin' to think that I don’t know beans about them either.

Can ya help me out on this one? Should I move a little closer to town or somptin'? Am I hallucinating? Have I been out in the sun too darned long?

Maybe I should take an aspirin, lie down and then call ya in the morning? Would that work? :>)
