Txblu: I think you"ll be happy with the results. Just as a "sanity check", a reasonably healthy "puter will have an initial "score" (the number of recognized objects found) of 0-200 or so. Of the friends I mentioned, one had 680, and the other one had 850! Most of these are cookies, but both had over 100 various "nasties" such as trackers, dialers, malware, etc. etc. clogging up their systems. The worst one was "buy buddy", which Adaware was unable to remove. It was placed by a visit to JC Penney, and I had to manually remove it by editing the registry (UGH!!). It"s a little dog that pops up in your system tray, tracks your movements, and then directs ad traffic to you based on your surfing habits. Suffice to say that they were getting ads for LOTS of "relationship enhancement devices"...... One quick thing--you can right-click on individual entries in the "found" list to select what to do with them. Some things you may want to leave, but usually you can just delete everything the first trip around and then go from there.
