Sean, I have had this happen at least three times that a litter of hungry kittens has shown up at the farm, some dead on the road, some in the ditch, all dumped and on one occasion, a litter sick with destemper. This brings disease to my barn and it costs me money to clean up these animals, but I am a cat lover and penecillin usually does the job. I have about 15 cats right now, I feed them and I medicate them when necessary. There are no rats or mice in my buildings, I have never seen even a sign of a rodent, but it costs about $12 a week for cat food. Yes get them neutered. I would be better off with about 5 cats but once in a while a neighbour will take a couple for their barn and I keep just ahead of reproduction...if cattle coulld only reproduce like that. People who dump pets think that someone will care for them and they can live with their decision, but an animal that contacts destemper and is not treated can die a slow and agonizing death. They also bring disease into a barn where there is none....and Jesus said "forgive them for they know not what they do"...I'd like to catch somebody dumping animals I'd give them a time they would never forget! In meantime I as you, am a good Samaritan and will care for the animals as best I can...Mike in Exeter Ontario

At one time I had seven restored examples which were shown and used in ploughing matches. As most restorers, I have a number of war stories I can relate on a range of topics that may help other like minded and interested people. Perhaps my first p
