Kelly do you have a dyno? if not there is another way to check out, and find problems in carbs and igntion,, You can advance the timing,, to where the rpms drop, or sounds like it is under a load, it acts like a dyno, and if there is a misfire, in the igntion,,you should be able to find it. Look at the plugs,, are they black, brown, or white? after you run it for a while,,,, or work the engine. Like I said, the venturi may be the cause,, these engines,, have a huge intake, and intake runners, so you have lots of flow,, the problem,, is that the carb is not pulling the correct amount of vacuum through the carb when it accelerates, sure,, you may be able to make it run rich wit the load adjustment, it is the sudden drop in vacuum in the manifold when the carb opens up to WOT. I used a venturi out of an M, a lot smaller than the 460-560, well any IH 6 cyl carb, if that dont work,, VALVES. Chad
