Dick, I really don't think using sealing tape is a good idea for hydraulics. Inside your hydratouch valves are very small fine screens that would not take much to plug. You can get high quality hydraulic paste type sealant from your local hydraulic shop. Another thing is the hydratouch on a Farmall 300 uses O-rings so I'm not sure where your wanting to use thread sealant. I have used nothing but new O-rings on my 300F, 300U and 400F and have no leaks.
