I went to start my m a few days ago. It started, but I didn't give it enough gas quick enough so it stalled. Now it wont start anymore. When I turn the key it just makes one clicking sound and doens't do anything. The wire hooked from the battery to the starter solenoid moves when power is sent through it, and if I hold the key on long enough the starter solenoid smokes because it gets so hot. I was wondering if this is because i have bad cables dirty ends or is the starter solenoid or starter broken. It always starter before. Maybe I dont have enough juice in the battery to turn the starter. I tried jumping it from another batter, but the other batter was also old, and had a weak charge. I'd appreciate any help. Before i tightened up the cable ends tighter up to the battery they would smoke also. I might just have a bad connection, but I'm not sure.
