Lads - my IH624 seemed to have a problem a couple of weeks ago - had a leaking rad ... but there was no visible leak. Found very tiny bubbles in my oil - and then the colour turned rather murky (but had no bubbles). Funny part was my oil level stayed the same - even though I probably put at least a gallon of water in the rad? I have since drained the oil and got quite the mixture - some water, bit of antifreeze, and oil. Put in new oil, changed the filter - and since then my rad level has stayed up and my oil is clean. Throughout all this the old girl hasn't missed a beat - sounds the same with no visible increase in smoke of any colour? Now I have only run her about 8 hours since the oil change ... but can a head gasket fix itself - or am I just hoping (calm before the storm!)
