Gary, Looks like this question slipped by everybody, so I'll take a stab at it. Assuming you have the worm gear out, this is the way I did it on my H. First I jacked the front of the tractor off the ground an inch or so. Then I loosened the nut on top of the sector gear so the top of the nut covered all the threads on the spindle. Put a block of hardwood over the nut and whack it a couple of times with a big hammer. This will loosen the gear most of the time. Let the tractor down on the ground and remove the nut. Now you can lift the sector gear off. Hope this helps. Larry
