Judy, I recently converted my C from 6 to 12 volts (following Bob's excellent directions). My biggest challenge was fabricating an appropriate mounting bracket for the alternator. I've got pictures of the bracket and how it all hooked up if you'd like them. Feel free to email me for 'em. - David
