Cost of a tractor SHED!

I went out and squared off a 22 X 24 plot yesterday to begin building a pole building for my tractor and boat. (The structure would have 3 sixteen foot treated posts down the middle and 3 twelve foot posts down each of the two sides.)

Today I went to Lowe's to buy the posts. WOW! I guess its been a while since I built anything!!! Each of the 16' treated 6 x 6 's was quoted at over $36.00!!! ( That's as far as I got.)

I'm not going to sink 4 to 5 G's into a building to house a tractor that I paid $300 for! Think I'll stop at the flea market this Saturday and pick up a brand new blue plastic tarp. There must be a better way.... (?) How you'uns keeping your Farmalls out of the rain?
