Mark, I am seriously kidding , I would not horn in on your tractor deal. I would love to have it too. I am here in central Texas, probably a long way from this ol'gril. I have located a Stage II Super M ..LP..here within 4 miles of my house. So I must pass on yours though.
How to tell the Stages.....StagesI look just like a regular M except, disk breaks, no live hydrolics, just the Lift-all.
Batt is still under the tank(on gas version)
I have never seen a factory LP stage I.
Stage II...Has live hydrolics, pump is in front of distributer..2 hoses running down the RH side of the tractor. there is a second resisvior for the hydrolic fluid where the Batt usually would be on a gas model. There is a Christmas tree setup comming of the lift-all fill point.
The Easy-rider seat assembly is removed for a seat assembly w/ Batt under it.
StageIII is the same as a II +...TA...&...LPTO.
These are visible differences that when you walk up to ityou should be able to tellwhat it is.
OBTW...The LP tank sits Cross-wise steering shaft goes through the tank. Valves, Fill,& bleed, face the rear of the tractor.
Van here on YT... has a Super M LP TA LPTO (Stage III) lucky dog! he is a great guy to visit with.
also GT... Has a 450 LP TA he has reseached for folks who have rebuilt kit and the like for LP.These are a couple of guys I visit with some.
NOW....GO BUY this ol'Darlin, do it some how, some way, If you don't you will regret it.
If they are asking $1000 offer 750 for it..It isn't running now!....Just the way I would do it.
Also I have unhidden my email here, if you want to email me.
Go get her...siccum!
Later,
John A.
