Numbers are on a data plate rivited to the gas tank support, and also on the engine block, on a flat boss. The single front wheel is not as common, but many were made. 3 forward gears, slow, slower, and much slower. One reverse. The spark lever is for setting the timing for starting, and is also the shutoff. All the way up is off, down a little bit for starting, all the way down for running. DO NOT try to crank with the spark advanced, or it will kick back and break something, and it won't be the tractor. If there is any doubt as to it being timed correctly, I would reccomend towing or pushing it to start the first time. Then you can play with the spark lever and see just how it works. In fact, I never crank an engine I have not had running first, to verify the timing is correct. I had a F20 kick back at the fair one year, and I was lucky I didn;t break my wrist. It was sore for a month.
