When I tore down my '50 C, I patted myself on the back for putting EVERYTHING in nicely labeled zip lock baggies. Well, I still lost some parts... After two weeks of looking, I can't find the two little things that hold the distributor from the sides. They're both bolted to a cast piece that connects to the block. If I remember correctly, you'd loosen these a bit in order to rotate the distributor to advance/retard the timing. Since I've got every other part to the distributor and its housing, I'd just as soon not buy a whole new setup. Has anyone rigged up a workaround? I'm trying to get really creative here: maybe I could JBWeld some flat washers together then file down one side to the curved edge that would match the distributor... Thanks! - David
