49 - If I understand your post right, your wiring is a bit off! With a regulator without an "L" terminal the L wire should go to the regulator BAT terminal (you'll have 2 wires on the BAT terminal now). And the generator F wire will go to the regulator FLD terminal. If you're wired right, you should get this with all other electrical loads turned off: Ign switch on/engine stopped: -2 to -4 amps Engine idling: -2 to -4 amps Engine running at speed: +5 to +20 amps (depends on the state of the battery) Give this a try and post back what you get!
