Thanks for the input. My gut feeling is that it isnt a major problem. I wondered about the governor also. I guess its a process of elimination, like everything else. I recon that if I decide to part with the $2 grand for the tractor, I'll get the chance to find out. Hopefully, armed with some decent info, I can get the seller to walk me though some of this elimination without investing first. I figure that if I have to spend $500. or $600. to get to the root of the issue, I'm ahead of the game since the rest of the tractor is in great shape, except one rear rim and tires.
