They had a wire from the altenator to the > light switch with an inline fuse but there was not a fuse in the tube so > it wasn't doing anything. How do I know if there is a voltage regulator in > the altenator or not? Should I change it neg. ground? Will that cause any > problems with the starter? With the tractor off if I put a > neg. lead from a volt meter on the neg. bat terminal and the positive on > the altenator terminal I get 12 volts with it running and full speed I get > 13+. So the altenator has a neg. field. Right? Is there a diagram that > shows how it should be wired after a conversion? > It has power steering but isn't working very well. What kind of fluid does > it take and how much and where should it be filled? > I would appreciate any help anyone can offer Thank you Mike
