H govenor and dist.

When Installing the Dist. and govenor to the engine do both of those just bolt right in or do I need to find timing marks on the gears before installing? I think the govenor free wheels for sure no timing mark. But does the dist bottom housing gear need a timing mark or does it just slide in? If so you just adjust the dist front part by unbolting it to get the right timing? Chad
