Not familiar with front cover on an A, but when I turned wrenches for a living I made a common practice of keeping track of bolts so I knew where they went. When I took something off I often would thread the bolts back into the hole they came out of. Either that or I would stick them through the whole of what I took off. And things of this nature would make it much simpler to put something back together. It also allowed me to put stuff back together with much less time. Never had to look for the right bolts, or figure out where they went. It was alot better system than putting them in a box or something. You will know where the bolt came from when you take it out, but will often forget over time. There must be a reason why the bolts are different. If you can figure that out, it might explain where they go.
